Escaped Debris Burn Threatens Home

An escaped debris burn near the Summit Lake Road in the Swanson Mill area burned approximately seven acres and threatened one home Friday.

The fire escaped around 3:00 p.m. Friday, and burned across private land before being brought under control by crews from Fire District 12, the Department of Natural Resources and the Forest Service.
