The City of Omak, and the contractor reconstructing Ross Canyon Road will close Ross Canyon Road between Riverside Drive and Ironwood Street beginning at 7:00 a.m. Monday, June 15th, and the road will remain closed continuously until 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 18th. Temporary lanes will be provided to allow traffic to pass from Thursday evening until the following Monday morning at which time the road will again be closed through the next Thursday evening. These road closures are expected to last at least four weeks, and may continue for up to six weeks.

The road closures have been authorized to minimize the duration of the reconstruction project, and improve safety for the traveling public and the contractor’s personnel.

Drivers are encouraged to use Kermel Grade or Robinson Canyon roads to access town from the north end, and from the flat.

The Contractor and the City apologize for this inconvenience, but believe shortening the duration of the project will result in the least disruption to the public.
