Okanogan Opens with Tourney Win

Okanogan Girls 61, Cedar Park Christian 25
From the 1A state tourney at the Yakima SunDome, 3/2. The Lady Bulldogs (22-2) with the easy opening round win advance to face Connell Thursday at 4 p.m.

Freeman Girls 50, Okanogan 39
The Bulldogs drop the regional championship game in Moses Lake and take the number two seed to the state tourney. 2/27. Okanogan loses for just the second
time this season.

Chelan Girls 56, Newport 34
Kelli Bowers' 25 points propels Chelan into the state tourney in the loser-out game. 2/27,

Lake Roosevelt Boys 54, Cashmere 46
The Raiders eliminate Cashmere and have made the state tourney. 2/27.

Chelan Boys 70, Freeman 56
Joe Harris for Chelan had 36 points and 11 rebounds. 2/27.

Liberty Bell Girls 57, Kittitas 41
The Mt. Liions eliminate Kittitas and are headed to the state tourney in Spokane. Mariah Clements scored 15 points and Bailey Bradshaw chipped in 14 points for Liberty
Bell, who went on a 14-0 second-half run to cement the win. Liberty Bell will face Asotin at 9 p.m.
Wednesday 3/3 to open the tournament.

Pateros 5th, 6th

Pateros Boys 43, Lake Quinault 40
Pateros grabs the 5th-place trophy, led by Nate Taylor's 11 points, nine of which came after intermission. 2/27.

Columbia (Hunters) 67, Pateros Girls 42
The Nannies finish the season and claim the 6th-place trophy with the loss. Lorrie Mattson scored 17 points to go with seven rebounds and Jamie Bruno had 13 points and seven rebounds in the loss. 2/27.

Pateros 5th, Lake Quinault 8th.

Colton 64, Almira/Coulee-Hartline 34
Colton is 1B Girls Champ, ACH 2nd.
