Next, we'll hear a 1948 episode of "Radio City Playhouse" titled "Long Distance"! February 4, 2012 - We'll travel to Dodge City, Kansas for the story "Big Girl Lost" - the December 19, 1953 episode of "Gunsmoke", starring William Conrad as US Marshall Matt Dillon! Then, it's Country Music at its best, as we enjoy the "25th Anniversary Show" of radio's "Grand Ol' Opry" (November 25, 1950)! February 11, 2012 - Time to stop by our local National Guard Armory for 15 minutes of fun and music on "Let's Go to Town", featuring Ralph Marterie and his Orchestra! After that, the Secret Word is "book", on everyone's favorite Comedy/Quiz program, "You Bet Your Life", starring the one, the only, Groucho Marx! February 18, 2012 - From the summer of 1939, we'll hear the story of "Ruggles of Red Gap", starring Chalres Laughton and Zasu Pitts, on "The Lux Radio Theater"! February 25, 2012 - First, "Bob and Ray" examine 'The World's Longest Letter" (1959). Then, Mr. Nelson tries to impress Mrs. Nelson and her friends with "Card Tricks", on a 1949 episode of "The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet"! |
