Agritourism Being Offered by WSU Extension

WSU Okanogan County Extension is offering an exciting new agritourism training program for farmers and ranchers who want to integrate tourism and related value-added enterprises into their business plans for their operations, and learn how to develop tourism related products and services to diversify and increase farm or ranch income.

"Breaking New Ground" is designed to provide in-depth assistance to those farmers and ranchers who want to diversify their operations by incorporating some type of value-added tourism related products and services into their businesses. This is a six session course to be held in Okanogan beginning February 16th. All students will receive an on-site consultation.
