On Tuesday, Okanogan County Superior Court issued an arrest warrant for Ronald Moore in conjunction with the shooting death of his father, Raymond Moore last Thursday.

Moore is being charged with First Degree Murder, two counts of second degree Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Theft of a Firearm and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm.

Ronald Moore is currently in Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane where he is reported to be in stable condition.

The Chelan County Sheriff's Office, who had been investigating the officer involved shooting, issued a report Tuesday. During their investigation they found that, the initial responding deputy to the domestic violence call arrived and was met by two adult females who ran out of the residence. They reported the suspect, Ronald E. Moore was armed with a handgun and shots had been fired. Okanogan County Special Response Team was activated to assist. The report said communication was established with the suspect by a hostage negotiator, but after unsuccessful negotiations the SRT made entry into the residence at which time one or more shots were fired. SRT member Deputy Terry Shrable confronted and fired at the suspect, striking him multiple times. Deputy Shrable was not injured. Medical personnel, who were already on scene, immediately entered the residence and determined the victim Raymond Moore was deceased.

Deputy Shrable remains on administrative leave based on standard procedures. Detectives from the Chelan County Sheriff's Office and the Washington State Patrol are continuing the investigation.
