Ballots for the February 9, 2016 Special Election are in the mail

The following districts have issues on the ballot.

  • Nespelem School District No. 14
  • Bridgeport School District No. 75
  • Brewster School District No 111
  • Lake Chelan School District No 129
  • Methow Valley School District No 350
  • Tonasket School District No 404
  • Oroville School District No 410

 

If you have not received your ballot by Friday, January 29th, please contact the Auditors Office at (509) 422-7240.

 

Remember your ballots must be signed.

 

The Auditors Office, 149 3rd Ave N, Okanogan, is open Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM and on Election Day only from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM for the following services.

  • Voter Registration
  • Drop off voted ballots
  • Obtain replacement ballots
  • Disability Access Voting Units

 

The county has 2 drop boxes that will be open January 22 – February 9, 2016.  Drop boxes will be open until 8:00 PM on February 9, 2016.

Drop box locations:

Tonasket – Tonasket City Hall/Library Complex, 209 S Whitcomb Ave, Tonasket

Pateros -180 Pateros Mall in parking lot, Pateros

 

If you mail your ballot, sufficient first class postage must be attached and it must be postmarked by the day of the election, February 9, 2016.  Check with your local post office for cut off times.

If you are not currently registered in the State of Washington, you can appear in person in the Auditors Office until February 1st and registered to vote and be able to vote in the Special Election.
