Ballots for Special Election In the Mail

Ballots for the February 11, 2014 Special Election, went into the mail Thursday, January 23, 2014

The following districts have issues on the ballot:

  • Omak School District No. 19
  • Bridgeport School District No. 75J
  • Okanogan School District No. 105
  • Brewster School District No. 111-203J
  • Pateros School District No. 122-70J
  • Lake Chelan School District No. 129
  • Tonasket School District No. 404
  • Oroville School District No. 410

If you have not received your ballot by Friday, January 31, 2014, please contact the Auditors Office at 509 422-7240.

Remember your ballots must be signed.

The Auditor’s Office, 149 3rd Ave N, Okanogan, is open Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM and on Election Day only from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM for the following services.

? Drop off voted ballots

? Obtain replacement ballots

? Disability Access Voting Units

The county has 3 drop boxes. Drop boxes will be open January 24 – February 11, 2014. Drop boxes will be open until 8:00 PM on February 11, 2014.

Drop box locations:

  • Tonasket – Tonasket City Hall/Library Complex, 209 S Whitcomb Ave, Tonasket
  • Omak – Next to Police Station, 8 N Ash, Omak
  • Pateros -180 Pateros Mall in parking lot, Pateros

If you mail your ballot, sufficient first class postage must be attached - Before January 26, - .46 cents, January 26 and after - .49 cents. Ballots must be postmarked by the day of the election, February 11, 2014. Check with your local post office for cut off times.

If you are not currently registered in the State of Washington, you can appear in person in the Auditor’s Office until February 3rd and registered to vote and be able to vote in the Special Election.
