A 20-year-old Brewster man was killed in a one vehicle rollover accident Friday evening near Gebbers Orchard Camp north of Brewster.

Okanogan County Sheriff Frank Rogers said his office received a report of a vehicle was laying on the railroad tracks near the camp around 7:15pm.

Rogers said, the investigation showed that the vehicle was traveling north on Gebbers Lane when it appears that the driver lost control, over corrected, swerved across the road and then steered back again. He said at that time the vehicle went off a very large embankment, landing at the bottom of the embankment and rolling onto its top on the railroad tracks.

The driver of the vehicle, Carlos Adrian-Carreola was pronounced dead at the scene. Rogers said, "The investigation also showed that speed was a factor and alcohol is also a possible factor in the cause of the accident."

Family members have been contacted.
