Carlton Complex Fire Update

SR20 has been closed due to fire activity. The closure goes from Loup Loup mile post marker 206 to mile post 15. This is Finley Canyon to the Summit. Again, the Loup Loup Highway SR20 is closed from Finley Canyon to the Summit. Please assist fire personnel by staying clear of this area.

Other Road Closures:

Texas Creek – Closed

French Creek – Closed

Libby Creek -Closed

Davis Lake Road - Closed

Lester Road - Closed

SR 153 is open to one lane traffic only

Last reports show the complex at 18,000 acres. The Cougar Flat fire at 5,000 acres is burning towards Highway 20.

From the Okanogan County PUD: The Loup Loup transmission line that provides power to the Methow Valley is in
jeopardy due to the current fire conditions. Electric customers are encouraged to
make preparations in the event the line is de-energized.
