Commissioners Issue Burn Ban

On Tuesday, the Okanogan County Commissioners issued a burn ban for Okanogan County. Until further notice, outdoor burning of combustible materials including yard waste is prohibited throughout the county.

The ban does not cover lands managed by the DNR or U.S Forest Service or lands within the Colville Reservation.

The use of gas or charcoal fired barbeques is still allowed.
