Commissioners Lift Burn Ban

On Tuesday, the Okanogan County Commissioners lifted the burn ban for the county citing recent rainfall and cooler weather. Last week the Department of Natural Resources lifted its statewide burn ban.

The Commissioners consulted with Okanogan Fire Chief Gordon Hennigs, who told the Commissioners that the Fire Advisory board supported lifting the ban.
