Community Forum on Thinning National Forest & Private

The North Central Washington Forest Health Collaborative (NCWFHC) and the National Forest Foundation (NFF) is jointly sponsoring a community forum and panel discussion on the use of thinning for forest restoration on the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest and nearby private lands. The panelists will include local landowners and a representative from The Wilderness Society and Vaagen Brothers Lumber.

The forum will be held on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the Twisp Grange Hall, 344 W. 2nd Ave, Twisp, WA.

Information on assistance and other resources for private landowners will also be available. This meeting is free and refreshments will be provided.
