County Burn Ban Goes Into Partial Effect

Okanogan County Emergency Management clarified the burn ban changes for the county this year.

In a posting on their Facebook page, officials stated that Okanogan County has been separated into Fire Danger Areas for the burn ban this year.

The Okanogan County burn ban started on the Valley Floors Fire Danger Area on June 25, 2019 at 12:01AM.

Fire Danger Areas:
- Okanogan Highlands: NO burn ban in effect
- Methow Highlands: NO burn ban in effect
- Valley Floors: Okanogan County burn ban in effect
