Deputies investigating homicide near Omak

Okanogan County Sheriff's Deputies are investigating a possible homicide Saturday night just outside of Omak in Brooks Tracts.

Sheriff Frank Rogers says the body of 88-year-old Leonard K. Miller was discovered by his daughter, who called law enforcement around 9:00 PM.

Rogers said, a search warrant was obtained early Sunday for the residence and the crime scene was being processed by the Washington State Patrol Crime Lab.

He said Miller's vehicle was stolen from the residence, but deputies located it early Sunday morning in East Omak. That vehicle was impounded as evidence.

Rogers said no arrests have been made so far, but deputies are following up on several leads.
