Fire and Ice Program Begins at the Loup

Jan 05, 2015

Loup Loup Ski Education Foundation (LLSEF) is pleased to announce a special fund that was created by the Fire and Ice fund raising effort during our annual auction, The Taste of Three Valleys this past fall.  The Board of Directors unanimously voted to provide free lift passes, lessons and snow sports equipment to school age children of the families who lost their homes to the fires, floods and landslides in Okanogan, Methow and Chelan valleys last summer during the 2014-15 season.  We are appreciative of the many cash donors during the auction to help fund this effort.  Without their support we would not have been able to extend this opportunity to so many children of those affected families by the disasters last fall.

The board is hopeful that children who qualify will have an opportunity to take advantage of this program at Loup Loup Ski Basin, this year.  Again we are offering:

 1)    A free season’s lift pass or day ticket for each visit.

 2)    Free 6 week group lesson program at the ski hill.

 3)    Free rental equipment.

You are asked to contact Loup Loup directly or work with your school snow sports program directors to arrange to sign the children up for the program and have the proper forms completed as soon as possible.   Lesson programs begin January 10.

Please contact CP Grosenick at 509-557-3402 or Junie Corrigan at 509-557-3401 for more information.  You may also email us at:  manager@skitheloup.com.
