Flooding Update From PUD

Flood waters are rising, and so too are concerns about electrical safety. Here is some good information from Okanogan PUD: At this time, Okanogan PUD customers have not experienced unplanned power outages due to flooding. There are no current concerns of Okanogan PUD substations being in danger of flooding. There have been numerous shutoffs throughout the PUD service area due to high waters.

If water is encroaching on any electrical services (i.e. panels, meters, transformers), please contact Okanogan PUD at 509-422-3310 to be disconnected. Be aware that response times may not be immediate as we work hard to respond to all calls, so please plan ahead. And, as always, stay clear of any electrical equipment/facilities near water.
