FORMER POLICE OFFICER ARRESTED FOR CHILD MOLESTATION

A former Coulee Dam Police Officer was arrested Friday on suspicion of Child Molestation.

Thirty-five your old Joshua M. Jimenez, of Coulee Dam was arrested in Douglas County and later transported and booked into the Okanogan County Jail on a charge of Child Molestation in the Second Degree.

Okanogan County Sheriff Frank Rogers said his office has been working on the case since June of 2014 when it was brought to them by the Coulee Dam City Police. Rogers said the case originated in Coulee Dam, which is where Jimenez was previously employed as a Police Officer for the City Police in Coulee Dam. He said Jimenez currently works at the Grand Coulee Dam facility.

Rogers said a warrant for his arrest was issued on August 8, 2014. He said bail has been set for Jimenez at $500,000.
