Hover and Branch Lead in Early Results

Andy Hover and Chris Branch lead in election night results with 7312 ballots counted.

In the Okanogan County Commissioner District #1 race, challenger Chris Branch leads incumbent Commissioner Sheliah Kennedy 53% to 46%.

In District #2 race, Andy Hover leads Ashley Thrasher 53% to 46%. Current incumbent Ray Campbell lost his seat in the August primary.

In the race for Okanogan County PUD Commissioner District #3, Jerry Asmussen leads Aaron Kester 57 to 42 percent.

The County Elections office says they had 7427 ballots left to count as of Tuesday night, but additional ballots are expected to arrive in the mail over the next few days. The next count is expected on November 14, 2016.
