Juveniles Arrested for Prowling

Three juveniles from Omak were arrested by the Omak Police after more than a dozen vehicle prowls were reported in the south Omak area on Thursday night.

Chief Larry W Schreckengast said one of the juveniles came up with the idea of vehicle prowling. The trio rummaged through only cars that were unlocked and some of the items taken included money, iPods, cameras and a debit card.

The juveniles, two boys aged 14 and 16 and a 13 year old girl was booked at juvenile detention. Schreckengast gave credit to Officer Jerod Gavin in making the arrests.
