Make a Difference Day Coming to Pateros

What: “Make a Difference Day”

When: Saturday, October 25^th beginning at 8 a.m.

Where: Pateros Fire Relief Center in the Pateros Mall.

Volunteers are needed.

Jobs include cleaning up fire areas, sorting items in the relief center, running errands, winterizing trailers, helping family get ready for winter, plus many more.

If you have a specific job you are good at or would like to do, pleases contact Carlene Anders at 509.733.0318 or Terrisa Yancey at trryanc@aol.com. They are helping to coordinate jobs with volunteers before October 25^th.

If you plan on participating, please bring a friend and gloves, wear closed shoes, and appropriate clothing for the weather. Also bring a sack lunch and water to drink.

If you have specialty tools for specific jobs, please bring them also. (Such as: power tools, chain saws, shovels, rakes or donated building/weatherizing materials.)
