Man Arrested for Threats Against School

Beau True, 35, of Omak was arrested by Omak Police at 10:00 this morning after making threat against the Omak School District.

An employee at the school administration office reported receiving a phone call from True around 9:15 am, with a threat to kill her.

True was booked at the Okanogan County Jail on suspicion of felony threat to kill.

Omak Police Chief Jeff Koplin said officers responded immediately to the school and found True walking on West Cherry. He was taken into custody without incident.

Koplin added that the school had initiated a soft lock down. The investigation continues.
