MID-VALLEY ORTHOPEDIC CLINIC EXPANDS WALK-IN CLINIC HOURS TO KEEP PATIENTS OUT OF THE EMERGENCY ROOM

News Release

Mar 31, 2020

To help ease the burden likely to be placed on emergency rooms and hospitals with the possible influx of patients presenting with COVID-19 symptoms, Mid-Valley Clinic announces it will be providing walk-in orthopedic urgent care services at all of its clinical sites.

Walk-in hours will be expanded from 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday at Mid-Valley Orthopedic Clinic.

Patients should call 509-826-1600 and select option "2" to alert our clinic that they are planning to come in.

"I think it is important to allow our ER and medical doctors to focus on acute medical issues and be available to respond to a potential outbreak of COVID-19 in our community," Dr. White, Mid-Valley Orthopedic Surgeon said. "Acute orthopedic problems can be seen urgently in the clinic instead of straining our emergency and helps minimize patient exposure."

Patients will be screened upon arrival for respiratory symptoms before they enter the facility. Visitor restrictions are being enforced and patients will only be allowed one visitor with them for their appointments.
