Minor Cited for Alcohol Theft

The Omak Police Dept continues to enforce underage drinking laws. They responded to a report of a theft on Omache Dr. Monday afternoon where a juvenile female was cited for theft of alcohol and Minor in Possession. The juvenile now faces a loss of her driver’s licenses for up to a year, time in juvenile detention, and fines.

Omak Police Dept is committed to keeping Omak youth safe. They urge you to please call 911 if you witness or suspect someone is stealing alcohol, providing alcohol to minors, or a place for them to consume it. Those found to be providing alcohol to a minor “Under 21” face $5000 in fines and up to a year in jail.
