A Night of Vandalism Lands Two Omak Men in Jail

Two Omak men were arrested Tuesday afternoon in connection with the vandalism of business and personal property in the Omak area Monday night.

The men, 21-year-old Patrick Dale Bilby, and 19-year-old Jacob Ryan Atkinson, both of Omak were booked into the Okanogan County Jail on five counts of Second degree Malicious Mischief and twelve counts of third degree Malicious Mischief.

According to the Omak Police Department, on Monday night, Bilby and Atkinson were shooting  CO2 BB pistols at a road sign on South Granite Street in Omak, when they missed and hit a car window breaking it.  Bilby and Atkinson allegedly found the breaking glass interesting and decided to continue going about town shooting at car windows, houses, and businesses. 

Currently 20 separate incidents of damage have been reported with officials expecting more reports.  Additional charges could follow further reports and additional investigation.
