Noxious Weed Recertification Class Dec 4th

The Okanogan County Noxious Weed Control Board will be holding a Recertification Class on December 4, 2014 in the Commissioner’s Hearing Room, 123 Fifth Ave. North, Okanogan, WA.

Class size is limited to 75 people so please pre-register.

The class will be from 8:00 am to 4:20 pm, topics are:

Biological Control of Noxious Weeds; Old, New and Future Agents
Pesticide Storage and Other Compliance Issues
Controlling Noxious Weeds After a Fire in the Rangeland With the Right Herbicide, Rates, and Timing
Common Plants and Pesticides Problematic to Livestock
Identification of Common and Noxious Weeds in Landscapes
2014 Noxious Weed Review
Aquatic Noxious Weed Program

There will be a $5.00 charge for the class, and 8 pesticide license credits will be available.
