An Okanogan man was killed in a one vehicle rollover accident Monday night, just outside of Okanogan.

Okanogan County Sheriff Frank Rogers said deputies were dispatched to the scene on Glover Lane around 7:30 PM.

Rogers said, apparently a Chevrolet Beretta had lost control, left the roadway and rolled approximately 100 feet down the embankment. The driver of the vehicle, 32-year-old Levi A Timentwa, of Okanogan was died at the scene.

Rogers said, a passenger, 19-year-old Shelby L. Gorr, of Omak and her 2-year-old child Oshiya D. Timentwa, were injured but at this time extent of their injuries is unknown. The Sheriff said, "It appears that after the vehicle rolled down the embankment and came to rest, Gorr was able to get out of the vehicle and call 911." He said, Gorr then climbed to the top of the ravine with her child and called 911 back once she got to the roadway. Rogers said the woman was not sure of their exact location but was able to give enough directions to dispatch that emergency crews were able to find them. She and her child were transported to Mid Valley Hospital.

Rogers said the accident is still under investigation at this time.
