Okanogan SD Closes for the Big Game Friday

Okanogan High School football team will be playing for the state championship in the Tacoma Dome on Friday, December 5.

School District Officials say that due to a limited number of substitute personnel and to the number of students and staff, district wide, who will be absent from school that day, all Okanogan School District schools will be closed all day on Friday, December 5. That includes Virginia Grainger Elementary, Okanogan Middle School, and Okanogan High School.

Officials say this school-wide closure will be made up by adding a day at the end of the school year. Therefore, the last school day for students will be Wednesday, June 10. Dates for Baccalaureate and Graduation and will remain the same.
