Omak School District is seeking a new logo

The Omak School District is seeking a new logo, and asking any current or former staff, students or alumni to submit a design.

The logo will be for the district as a whole, incorporating all schools and the community in which we live. It can pull from multiple current logos, but should not have only one school represented in its design. All logos should be submitted via email to logocontest@omaksd.org. Entries are due by midnight, Oct. 30.

A panel from across the district, including at least one student, will narrow the decision to the Top Five, each of whom will get a prize. The top winner will receive a collection of gift certificates from local businesses, including The Breadline Café, Coffee Xpress, Grandma’s Attic, Havillah Road Printing, Hometown Pizza and Valley Lanes. The school board will vote for the winner at a special board meeting in November, date to be determined.
