Oroville Man Injured in Motorcycle Accident

An Oroville man was injured Sunday, when his motorcycle left the roadway on Highway 97 about four miles north of Brewster.

According to the Washington State Patrol report, 55-year-old Dennis H. White, of Oroville, was southbound at 2:15 p.m. when he failed to negotiate a curve, crossed the centerline, and went off the road across the northbound shoulder. The State Patrol says the bike rolled end over end, and White was ejected.

White, who was wearing his helmet, suffered a sore neck and ankle. He was transported to the Okanogan Douglas District Hospital.

The bike received about $2,000 damages.
