Pedestrian Killed on Highway Near Omak

An Spokane teen died Thursday night when he was hit by a pickup on Highway 155, about three miles southeast of Omak.

According to the Washington State Patrol report, 18-year-old Eli S. Brigman died at the scene of the accident, which occurred shortly after 10 p.m.

The State Patrol says 36-year-old Charissa M. Williams, of Nespelem, was driving a 2008 Ford F250 pickup truck south when she hit Brigman, who was walking in the southbound lane.

The State Patrol said the cause of the accident "pedestrian
in roadway," and no charges will be filed.
