Portion of Salmon Creek Road Closed

Okanogan County Public Works has closed Salmon Creek Road from milepost 2.14 to 2.40. This closure is immediately south of Glover Lane.

Routine maintenance work identified undermining of a bridge footing that makes the bridge unsafe for vehicular traffic.

Emergency repair work is being planned and will be implemented next week. We will evaluate the load carrying capacity of the structure as the repairs are performed.

Public Works plans to reopen the bridge to light traffic within two weeks.
