Recertification Class Coming Up March 6

The Okanogan County Noxious Weed Control Board will be holding a Recertification Class on March 6, 2014 in the Commissioner’s Hearing Room, 123 Fifth Ave. North, Okanogan, WA.

Class size is limited to 75 people so please pre-register.

The class will be from 12:30 pm to 4:00 pm, topics are:

Updates from the Washington State Weed Board, New weeds on the state weed list & listing process
“Native vs Non-Native plants” What’s really better for the environment?
WDFW Okanogan Lands Operations and wildlife areas and weed management priorities.
Check List for Weed Control - Dry vs Liquid measuring, Spray management, Weed types and Control Options.

There will be a $5.00 charge for the class, and four pesticide license credits will be available.
