Richland Man Killed in Accident Near Mazama

A 59-year-old Richland man died Wednesday when his motorcycle struck a guardrail near Mazama.

According to the Washington State Patrol report, David L. Carroll was westbound on Highway 20, about 13 miles west of Mazama when he failed to negotiate a curve and his 2008 Harley Davidson motorcycle went off the roadway striking a guardrail.

The State Patrol says Carroll, who was wearing a helmet, was ejected from the bike. He died at the scene.
