Okanogan County Sheriff Frank Rogers says they are running out of options in the search for Peter Greene, missing from Apple Springs Assisted Living since Monday night. Crews were searching again Thursday, but Rogers said if they don't come up with any firm leads today, the search will have to be called off.

Crews and volunteers have been scouring the area from Apple Springs out in all directions, covering every inch of ground. Rogers said they have also been covering the Omak area looking in allies and buildings.

The 79-year-old Greene suffers from Alzheimer's disease. He was reported missing when employees of Apple Springs could not find him at 10:20 p.m. on Monday night. He was last seen in his room at 9:00 p.m.

Rogers said it is possible that someone may have picked him up or given him a ride. The Sheriff said if anyone has possibly seen Greene, or saw someone pick him up, to please call dispatch at 422-7232
