Spray Smart Workshops Coming Up

Mar 03, 2020

The Okanogan County Noxious Weed Control Board is sponsoring: Spray Smart, a hands-on workshop for backpack and ATV sprayer calibration; learn how to calibrate your sprayer. Knowing how much product your sprayer is actually putting out per acre can save you time, money, and it's kinder on our environment.  We will also practice calculating application rates, or how much product you need to put in your sprayer based on label recommendations. We have applied for pesticide credits for these workshops.

We will be holding 3 different workshops at the Okanogan County Noxious Weed Office (located at 1234 South 2nd Ave. in Okanogan) on March 26 at the following times 9:00 am to 11:00 am, 11:30 am to 1:30 pm, and 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

Pre-registration is required

Each workshop is scheduled for 2 hours with a1/2 hour break between, with groups being limited to a maximum of 10 people in each workshop. The deadline to sign up by is March 23rd, space is limited, so please sign up as soon as possible.

You will want to bring your Backpack or ATV sprayer with you to the workshop, and make sure it is CLEAN! (TRIPLE RINSED)
