Superintendent Interviews Feb 18 & 19

The Omak School District Board of Directors will be conducting preliminary interviews with the four semifinalist candidates for the open Superintendent of School position on Tuesday, February 18 and Wednesday, February 19.

Interviews will be held in the Omak High School Library and will be open to the public. The Omak School Board has chosen to have an observation panel participate in the preliminary interview process. Twelve members of the community and twelve school district employees will observe each candidate interview and provide written feedback to the School Board. The School Board will select finalists from these interviews and invite them to be interviewed the week of February 24th.

The following applicants for the position have been invited to interview with the Board of

Directors:

Dr. Jared Hoadley – (Tuesday, February 18, 4:00 pm)

Dr. Hoadley is currently the Assistant Superintendent for Student Services in the Mead School District. Dr. Hoadley has held that position since 2012. Previously, he was the principal at Colbert Elementary School in the Mead School District. Hoadley earned his Doctorate from Washington State University and received his Master’s Degree from Gonzaga University.

Jennifer Kindle – (Tuesday, February 18, 5:30 pm)

Jennifer Kindle is currently the Executive Director of Student Learning for the Selah School District. Jennifer has held that position since 2016. Previously, she was the principal of Selah High School. Jennifer received her Master’s Degree from Central Washington University.

Dr. Ryan Christoph – (Wednesday, February 19, 4:00 pm)

Dr. Christoph is currently the principal of Omak Middle School for the Omak School District. Dr. Christoph has held that position since 2018. Previously, he was the principal of East Omak Elementary. Dr. Christoph earned his Doctorate at Washington State University and received his Master’s Degree from Whitworth College.

Michael Porter – (Wednesday, February 19, 5:30 pm)

Mr. Porter is currently the Assistant Superintendent for the Omak School District. Mr. Porter has held that position since 2018. Previously, he was interim principal at Omak Middle School. Mr. Porter received his Master’s Degree from Heritage College.
