Teens Held on $1 Million Bail in Connection With Riverside Man’s Murder

Two teens accused of murdering a Riverside man are being held on $1 million bail in an Oregon Juvenile Detention Facility after being arrested on Monday in the dead man’s stolen pickup truck.

Okanogan County Sheriff Frank Rogers said Detectives returned from Oregon Thursday. He said they obtained evidence and stolen property while in Oregon and interviewed several people. They also recovered two firearms that were stolen from the victims residence.

Warrants have been issued for Parker Bachtold and Shalin Alltus. Rogers said the warrants are for  1st Degree Aggravated Murder, Robbery in the First Degree, Theft of a Motor Vehicle, Theft of a Firearm (2 Counts), Unlawful Possession of a Firearm-Juvenile in Possession of a Firearm, (2 Counts). Rogers said both warrants have a $1,000,000 bail on them.

An autopsy was done on Patrick Alltus showed the cause of death was from the multiple gunshots.
