Threatening Note Leads to Lockdown at Omak High School

Omak High School was put into lockdown and the Middle School was in a soft lockdown after a threating note was discovered in a bathroom at the High School this morning.

Omak Police responded to investigate the incident. Shortly after noon today the lockdown was lifted for both schools as officials said the investigation found no evidence of a credible threat. Police did remain on scene for the rest of the school day.

School officials say they are reviewing the video surveillance system to see who was in the bathroom near the time of the discovery.
