THREE ARRESTED ON DRUG CHARGES IN OMAK

Three people were arrested on drug charges Tuesday following an eight month investigation into the distribution of methamphetamine and heroin.

The North Central Washington Narcotics Task Force, Okanogan County Sherriff’s Office, Omak Police Department and Colville Tribal Police Department served a search warrant at a home located at 623 Index Street in East Omak yesterday.

The three arrested were 33-year-old James Edward Grant, 60-year-old Cheryl Ann Grant and 27-year-old Max Harley Lazard all of Omak.

James Grant was booked into the Okanogan County Jail on three counts of Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Methamphetamine.

Cheryl Grant was booked into the Okanogan County Jail on three counts of Delivery of a Controlled Substance Methamphetamine and one count of Possession with Intent to Deliver, Methamphetamine.

Max Lazard was booked into the Colville Tribal Jail on four counts of Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Heroin.

Sheriff Frank Rogers said “During the search of the property Detectives located methamphetamine, scales, packaging materials, and cash.”
