THREE ARRESTED FOR RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

Feb 02, 2015

Three people were arrested Sunday on residential burglary charges after they were found inside several cabins on the Sinlahekin Road near Conconully.

Okanogan County Sheriff Frank Rogers said his deputies responded to a suspicious circumstance call. He said the reporting party said that he had observed several subjects leave a grey van on Sinlahekin Road and walk down to cabins. The Sheriff said the man did not recognize any of them as local residents or persons associated with the vacation cabins.

Rogers said when deputies arrived, they found the vehicle, which was empty and followed the footprints down to the cabins. The foot prints went to several of the cabins and then split up. As they were searching they spotted a male subject inside one of the trailers. The suspect was ordered out of the trailer and identified as 45-year-old Martin T. Stanley, of Omak. Stanley was arrested for Residential Burglary and on an outstanding warrant.

Officers continued to search the area and followed the other two sets of tracks to another cabin where they found the door had been damaged, and items were strewn all over the cabin. They then located two females hiding in the bedroom, one was hiding under the bed and the other was hiding next to the bed. Officers arrested 30-year-old Juliana Y. Terry, of Electric City and 32-year-old Suzanna M. Marchand, of Omak. Rogers said they were also arrested for Residential Burglary and outstanding warrants.

The Sheriff said “we are extremely grateful for the local resident who was keenly aware of suspicious activity in their neighborhood and took an active role in reporting this, which led to the arrests.”

He said all three suspects are well known to law enforcement.
