Three Men Injured in Two Vehicle Accident South of Tonasket

Three men were injured Thursday afternoon in a two-vehicle collision on Highway 97 at the Clarkson Mill Road, two miles south of Tonasket.

According to the Washington State Patrol, 24-year-old Simeon Martin, of Riverside was southbound on Highway 97 in a Toyota Pickup, when he struck a car that was stopped, attempting to make a left turn.

The driver of the car, 45-year-old Bernabe Camarillo, of Tonasket, and his passenger 31-year-old Francisco Martinez, of Tonasket were both transported to North Valley Hospital with unspecified injuries. Martin was also injured and transported to North Valley Hospital.

The State Patrol says all three were wearing their seatbelts. Martin was charged with traveling to fast.
