WorkSource Plans Outreach to Help Those Affected by the Carlton Fire

WorkSource Okanogan County, along with the Spokane UI Claims Center will be in Pateros and in Winthrop this Friday to help people affected by the fires burning in Okanogan County.

WorkSource Okanogan Administrator Craig Carroll said “ If people have lost their job either temporarily or permanently due to the effects of the fires, they may be eligible for unemloyment insurance.”

To help make the process easier, WorkSource will have representatives at two locations on Friday July 25th.

They will be at the Lakeshore Inn (233 Lakeshore Drive) in Pateros this Friday morning from 9am to 11am.  Then they will be at Room One (315 Lincoln Street) in Twisp From 1:30 to 3:30 this Friday afternoon.

Representatives from WorkSource Okanogan County and from the Spokane Tele-center will be at both meetings to answer questions and to help people file unemployment insurance claims.

Affected individuals can also call the Claims Center at 1-800-318-6022  or go the  WorkSource office at 126 Main Street in Omak.
