Yesterday, Sen. Brian Dansel was sworn in to serve a full, four-year term as State Senator for the 7th Legislative District. Dansel served last year to complete the term of Sen. Bob Morton after his decision to retire. He was re-elected by voters in November.

“I’m honored to be back in Olympia to represent our values,” said Dansel. “We have significant decisions ahead of us in the Legislature and I plan to make sure we fight for a smart, balanced budget while developing real solutions to the needs of our community.”

Dansel was selected to serve as Vice-Chair of both the Natural Resources & Parks and the Agriculture, Water & Rural Economic Development Committees. He is expected to play a key role in improving wolf management and protecting local water and property rights.

“Decisions that are made in Olympia can have a huge impact on our lives,” said Dansel. “I will continue my work to bring a new, innovative approach to protecting our Constitutional rights and values.”
